Originally set for July 11, 2026, the new deadline is midnight on July 14, 2026. INEC granted the extension following an appeal by the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), citing challenges parties faced in uploading candidate information. The commission has urged all political parties to utilize this additional time to finalize their submissions.
