The Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) recently held its 65th Annual General Meeting in Lagos, marking 65 years of fostering trade relations between Nigeria and the United States. National President Sheriff Balogun praised the chamber’s resilience and highlighted a positive shift in the Nigerian economy, noting that inflation has eased to 23 percent while steady growth continues in the services, agriculture, and construction sectors. Despite these macroeconomic improvements, Balogun emphasized that the chamber must work to ensure economic reforms translate into tangible prosperity for all citizens. Looking ahead, the organization announced plans to construct a permanent secretariat, the NACC Plaza, to serve as a hub for future commercial diplomacy.
