Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) has acted as the coordinator and lead arranger for a $340 million refinancing deal for Indorama Fertiliser and Chemicals FZE Limited in Nigeria. The debt facility, supported by international commercial banks and development financial institutions, aims to provide more competitive funding for Indorama’s expanding urea production operations. As Nigeria’s largest non-oil exporter, Indorama supplies 75 percent of the domestic fertilizer market. The company is set to become the world’s largest single-site urea producer following the commissioning of its Line 3 facility in June 2026.
