Owen Omogiafo, President and Group CEO of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has increased her stake in the conglomerate with a N75.83 million share acquisition. According to a regulatory filing with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), Omogiafo purchased 1,900,800 shares across two transactions on July 27 and July 28. This move raises her direct shareholding to 8,773,569 shares, signaling strong leadership confidence in the group’s ongoing expansion and financial performance, which includes total assets exceeding N1 trillion as of mid-2026.
