Stakeholders in Ebonyi State have pledged their support for the proposed Abakaliki cement factory, welcoming the project as a catalyst for industrialization and job creation. Leaders from the four host communities—Umuhuali, Nkalaha, Nkalagu, and Amezu—committed to ensuring a secure and investment-friendly environment for the development. The project, facilitated by Governor Francis Nwifuru in partnership with Chinese contractors, is expected to enhance local manufacturing capacity and boost state revenue.
