The Mekaria Institute of Technology and Administration in Obosi, Anambra State, has launched a digital-first educational model designed to bridge the gap between traditional academic certificates and the practical skills required by the global digital economy. Adedayo Ojo, Chairman of the Governing Council, stated that the institute focuses on work-ready curricula in fields such as cybersecurity, software engineering, and digital marketing. With fees ranging from 80,000 to 130,000 Naira, the institute aims to produce job-ready graduates who can serve local SMEs and compete for remote international roles, ultimately boosting the South East’s tech talent pool.
