The Federal Government has launched the Tinubu Light Initiative to provide affordable renewable energy to one million micro, small, and medium enterprises. The program aims to reduce operating costs for small businesses by decreasing reliance on fossil fuel generators. Officials project the initiative could stimulate N172 billion in annual economic activity and generate over 50,000 direct jobs. This move complements ongoing government efforts to improve credit access for the MSME sector.
