Chad to Grant Visa-Free Access to All Africans by 2027

Chad has announced a visa-free travel policy for all African nationals, effective January 1, 2027. This move makes Chad the eighth African country to adopt a blanket visa-free regime, aiming to facilitate the seamless movement of goods and people across the continent. By eliminating visa requirements, the landlocked nation seeks to enhance regional trade and connectivity, aligning with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the African Continental Free Trade Area objectives. Nigerian passport holders currently already enjoy visa-free access to the country.
