Nigeria Customs Hits N4.03 Trillion Revenue in H1 2026

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reported revenue generation of N4.03 trillion for the first half of 2026. This performance keeps the agency on track to meet its ambitious N11.07 trillion annual revenue target. Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi attributed the growth to the deployment of technology, the removal of human discretion in cargo processing, and intelligence-led enforcement. The agency is also advocating for a review of the national import waiver regime to further align fiscal incentives with current economic objectives.
