Mallam Yahyah, founder of RHG Advisory, has called for a shift from fragmented national energy systems to an integrated, US$3 trillion West African energy market by 2035. Addressing the West Africa Oil and Gas Regulatory Forum in Abuja, he proposed a Hub-Node-Spoke model supported by a regional regulatory passport system to ensure interoperability. The strategy emphasizes regional trade, efficient cross-border settlement, and the development of local talent to transform the region’s energy resources into sustained economic growth.
