The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has finalised its review of Nigeria’s revenue allocation formula and is advancing remuneration reviews for political and public office holders. Chairman Mohammed Bello Shehu confirmed that these legislative proposals are currently before the relevant authorities. The commission is also enhancing revenue monitoring through satellite technology and tighter inter-agency collaboration to combat oil theft and improve derivation transparency.
