The Federal Capital Territory Administration, under Minister Nyesom Wike, has signed 26,272 Certificates of Occupancy (C of Os) over the past three years. This figure significantly exceeds the 8,697 documents issued between 2010 and 2023. The FCT has also implemented a streamlined process, enabling allottees to receive C of Os within two weeks of payment, a move intended to enhance credit access and ease of doing business in the capital. Over the same period, the administration approved 2,521 Consents to Assign and 177 Consents to Mortgage.
