Nigeria’s transition to clean mobility is creating significant market opportunities, despite critical infrastructure gaps. While the country has converted over 120,000 vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and reached 20,000 electric vehicles (EVs), the limited availability of refueling and charging stations remains a barrier. To support this growth, the federal government has introduced tax waivers on imported green vehicles and components. These challenges are generating demand for investment in charging infrastructure, specialized maintenance services, fleet management software, and innovative vehicle financing solutions.
