The Jigawa State Government has approved N3.4 billion for various educational and infrastructure projects. The allocation includes N892 million for student tuition and living expenses at Near East University in Cyprus, and N1.05 billion to cover examination fees for over 40,000 candidates. Additionally, N1.09 billion is earmarked for road drainage and culvert construction to mitigate flooding, while N405 million will be directed toward renovating classrooms under the 2026 Capital Development Programme.
