SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc has successfully met the Nigerian insurance industry’s new minimum capital requirements, strengthening its capital base for future expansion. Despite macroeconomic headwinds, including inflationary pressures and foreign exchange losses that impacted net profit—which fell to N1.53 billion from N3 billion in 2024—the company reported a 41.1% increase in gross insurance revenue to N21.6 billion. Management remains focused on operational efficiency, digital transformation, and market penetration for 2026.
