The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has reaffirmed that a 300 dollar helicopter landing levy remains mandatory for upstream petroleum operations. The Commission clarified that Terminal Navigational Charges (TNC) do not apply to landings at private offshore facilities or oil platforms. Upstream operators are now required to align their invoicing and cost-recovery frameworks with these guidelines, ensuring payment is directed to the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency through approved channels.
