Liquid Network, a Bitcoin-based payment and settlement platform, has paused operations following a security breach that resulted in the withdrawal of approximately 4,000 BTC, valued at roughly $320 million. The incident occurred via the network’s SideSwap Peg-out Authorization Key, though the firm maintains that the keys themselves were not compromised. In response, bridge nodes have been disabled, and exchanges have been instructed to halt LBTC transactions while the team works to resolve the situation.
