Seplat Energy Plc has surpassed the N8 trillion market capitalisation mark, with its share price reaching a 52-week high of N13,552.60 on the Nigerian Exchange. The company’s stock has surged approximately 133 percent from its previous levels, driven by strong operational performance, including a 500 percent year-on-year rise in half-year profit after tax to $164 million. The valuation rally has significantly boosted the value of major shareholder stakes, including those held by Tony Elumelu, while supporting a record interim dividend payout of 12 cents per share.
