Nigeria-based agribusiness, JR Farms Group, has entered into a $60 million implementation agreement with Liberia’s Ministry of Agriculture to revitalize the country’s coffee sector over the next 20 years. The initiative includes establishing commercial-scale coffee nursery hubs across five counties, training over 200,000 farmers, and developing processing infrastructure to integrate Liberian coffee into global markets. The project is expected to create nearly 500,000 jobs and significantly boost the nation’s export competitiveness.
