The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance regulatory oversight of aviation insurance in Nigeria. The pact establishes a Joint Technical Committee to ensure aviation operators maintain adequate and valid insurance, improving risk management, passenger protection, and investor confidence. This collaboration aims to minimize operational challenges and align the sector with international best practices as the Nigerian aviation industry continues to expand.
