Lagos State will host an energy summit on November 10 and 11, 2026, to review private sector participation in the state’s electricity market. The event focuses on the impact of the Lagos State Electricity Law 2024 and aims to attract further investment across the generation, transmission, and distribution value chain. Several private power projects are already underway, including initiatives by Fenchurch Power Limited, Elektron Energy Development, and Sahara Power Enterprises Group, as the state seeks to expand its decentralized power capacity.
