The Commission issued a statement on Monday dismissing media reports that linked the immigration chief to the scandal. While the EFCC confirmed that it is currently prosecuting several NIS officers for visa fraud and that further investigations are underway, it stressed that Nandap is not a subject of these inquiries. The anti-graft agency has urged the media to exercise caution and verify information to avoid misrepresenting its activities.
