First HoldCo has officially opened a N1.4 trillion share sale to the public, following approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria. The offering involves a 10.4 billion share block previously held as a bridge stake to stabilize ownership. The funds will be used to bolster the bank’s capital base and support expansion into insurance and financial technology. First HoldCo currently leads the Nigerian Exchange with a market capitalization of N6.09 trillion, fueled by strong H1 2026 performance, including a profit after tax of N526.13 billion. The stock rose 3.43 percent to N134 following the announcement.
