JonahCapital Petitions EFCC Over Alleged $300m River Park Estate Fraud Claim

JonahCapital Nigeria Limited has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate an alleged $300 million fraud linked to the River Park Estate in Abuja. The company disowned an ongoing arbitration proceeding at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, where Ghanaian businessman Sam Jonah is reportedly claiming to have invested $300 million in the project. JonahCapital alleges that Sam Jonah is impersonating company leadership to pursue these claims against the Nigerian government. The company maintains that no such investment was made and asserts that infrastructure for the estate was instead funded by Paulo Homes Limited. The petition requests that the EFCC examine the legitimacy of the claims and the documents submitted to the international tribunal to prevent potential financial loss to the Federal Government.
