The Ministry of Finance Incorporated’s Real Estate Investment Fund (MREIF) reported a profit after tax of N14.24 billion for the first half of 2026. The fund, which utilizes a blended finance model to support affordable mortgages, saw its total assets grow to N269.9 billion. Meanwhile, Heirs Insurance Group reported a 2025 profit before tax of N9.53 billion, a 14.9% decline from the previous year, despite an 88.5% surge in gross written premiums to N115 billion, as foreign exchange volatility impacted operations.
