The European Commission has allocated 2.3 million Euros in emergency humanitarian funding to support cholera response efforts across four African nations. Nigeria will receive 1.5 million Euros, representing 65% of the total fund, to strengthen its epidemiological surveillance, case management, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions. The funding aims to bolster intervention teams and provide essential medical supplies to combat ongoing outbreaks in the country.
