MTN Nigeria has awarded N1 million each to three athletes from its MTN CHAMPS programme in recognition of their achievements at national and international competitions. The beneficiaries, Ezekiel Asuquo, Lucy Nwankwo, and Toheebat Jimoh, were honoured for their performances at events including the African Senior Championships and the World U20 Championships. Since its inception, the MTN CHAMPS initiative has engaged over 22,000 athletes, serving as a talent pipeline for global athletics.
