UBA Secures Deadline Extension for H1 2026 Financial Results

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has secured approval from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to extend the deadline for filing its audited half-year 2026 financial results. Originally due by the end of August, the publication date is now set for no later than September 30, 2026. The bank stated that while its Board of Directors approved the results on August 13, the release remains subject to final regulatory clearance. Consequently, the bank’s closed period for trading in its securities will continue until 24 hours after the reports are officially published. UBA joins other major Nigerian lenders, including GTCO, Zenith Bank, and Access Holdings, which have also recently secured extensions for their half-year filings.
