The Nigeria Customs Service, Apapa Area Command, has set a new record by collecting N28.1 billion in revenue within a single 24-hour period on August 18, 2026. This performance surpasses the command’s previous daily record of N20.1 billion set in September 2025. According to Comptroller Emmanuel Oshoba, the milestone reflects the ongoing impact of Customs automation and modernization reforms. This achievement follows a strong July, where the command generated N323 billion in total monthly revenue.
