NHIA Chair Urges Compassionate Medical Practice at IMAN Conference

The Chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority, Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, has called on medical practitioners to prioritize patient care, compassion, and professional integrity despite Nigeria’s existing healthcare infrastructure challenges. Speaking at the 27th National Conference of the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria in Ilorin, Oloriegbe emphasized that saving lives should supersede financial considerations. During the event, the association highlighted its recent humanitarian efforts, including providing medical outreach services to over 2,000 patients across Kwara State.
