NDLEA Seizes N2bn in Illicit Drugs; Delta State Plans Further Crackdown

The Delta State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has seized illicit substances valued at over N2 billion within the last year. Following this report, the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications (DSCOB) has announced the second phase of its Drug-Free Delta campaign, set to launch on September 21, 2026. The state government is currently evaluating a policy to implement mandatory drug integrity tests for students in tertiary institutions across the state.
