Tony Elumelu’s stake in Seplat Energy Plc has reached a valuation of approximately $1.28 billion (N1.484 trillion), following an 8.4 percent rise in the company’s share price over the last two months. Holding 120.4 million shares through Heirs Energies and Heirs Holdings, Elumelu remains the firm’s largest shareholder. This valuation reflects the strong market performance of the oil and gas company since the Heirs Group acquired the 20.07 percent stake from Maurel & Prom at the end of 2025.
