According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his wealth grew by $122 billion over the past year, representing a 48.7% increase. This surge is largely driven by the rising valuations of his space exploration firm, Blue Origin—which was valued at $140 billion in September 2026—and his stake in the artificial intelligence startup, Prometheus. Bezos currently trails only Elon Musk, whose fortune has reached $1.02 trillion.
