The Central Bank of Nigeria has issued a correction regarding the country’s external reserves, clarifying that the figure stands at $55.07 billion as of October 9, 2026, rather than the previously reported $58 billion. The reserves have shown consistent growth throughout September and early October, rising from $53.90 billion at the start of September.
